WHITE SPRUCE ARCHAEOLOGY

RESPECT, TRUST, HONESTY

White Spruce Archaeological Services is committed to working with the descendants of those who created the cultural heritage sites we investigate and the information we study. We recognize and respect the special relationship that exists between First Nations people and the archaeological buried record.
Members of White Spruce Archaeological Services work with communities on archaeological projects. We believe in the participation of First Nation people in our collaborative research projects whenever possible. White Spruce Archaeology work with First Nations prior to initiating field studies and we attempt to actively involve community members whenever possible in our field work.

We work with First Nations and development proponents to ensure that a balanced perspective on cultural heritage values is considered and the results are objective and complete.

White Spruce Archaeology actively engages in collaborative research projects with First Nations communities and respects their interests in heritage, environmental and community development issues. We are always seeking new ways to involve First Nations communities in archaeological research through partnerships, educational programs or employment opportunities.
